What Exactly Is A CRTC Ambassador?

The Ambassadors are the front-line of Membership. They are the great connectors responsible for recruiting, involving and retaining members. If you are outgoing, you wear your membership on your sleeve and you thrive on helping others connect, this could be the committee for you. Every member of CRTC can serve as an Ambassador. The primary responsibilities of Ambassadors involve:

  • Communicating the benefits of joining CRTC to prospective members.
  • Helping new members understand how the organization works and ways in which they can help out or contribute.
  • Sharing timely information about CRTC and so members can "Get Connected."

John Camden is a Vice President, Commercial Banker for First National Bank, Maryland Region. F.N.B. was originally founded in Pennsylvania back in 1864 under the name The First National Bank of West Greenville. Formally BankAnnapolis, John is excited to be a part of the F.N.B. team and help them build their presence here in Maryland.  John has lived, worked and volunteered in Anne Arundel County for 19 years. He has been a local community banker for the last 7 years and has both a Commercial and Retail banking background to fully meet his client’s needs. John is currently finishing his degree in Management at UMUC. He is currently participating in the 2013 Leadership Anne Arundel Flagship program. John is a Level IV USA Hockey Certified Coach at Navy Youth Hockey in Annapolis and enjoys coaching youth ice hockey. In November 2012 John was honored by the Maryland Bankers Association with the Next Leaders in Banking award at BankNext. John lives with his wife Melissa and two children Garrett, 15 and Jackson, 4 in Annapolis.

Cockburn is the Business Development Manager for Windstream Communications, a company that provides voice, data and IP services to businesses, which she joined in 2004. Initially overseeing the opening of PAETEC DC sales office, she now manages the partner program and develops strategic technology alliances, creating customized IT solutions that meet the complex client needs. Prior to joining PAETEC, Snezana spent over 10 years in the international medical sector with J&J, where she helped grow their presence by introducing medical franchises, creating channels for international trade and barter, local manufacturing and distribution to countries in Eastern Europe. She also helped establish educational programs for surgeons and introduced new and innovative surgery technologies through training and seminars. Snezana served six years on the Board of the US Chamber of Commerce in Eastern Europe. From Maryland, she graduated with Honors from the University of Nottingham (UK) with a degree in Russian and Serbo-Croatian studies.

Newcomer to Maryland, Tom Eberle is an Executive Management Professional skilled in both computer hardware and software product lifecycles with a track record of delivering products with technical excellence. Tom’s unique combination of technical savvy, marketing prowess, and business acumen have been key to his ability to deliver product success. Having been with MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC for 18 years as the Director of Marketing and as a real estate broker, Trish Farrell specializes in the sale and leasing of commercial real estate. Trish has been involved in the leasing and marketing of over three million square feet of office, retail, warehouse/flex, and mixed use space. This experience has given her an understanding of both the landlord and tenant perspectives and the economic realities that affect their negotiations. Trish has represented companies on a local, regional and national level. Gregory Smith is a Business Banking Relationship Manager for M&T Bank in the Chesapeake region. For the past 20 plus years Ms. Turner has volunteered, led and/or served on committees of numerous organizations ranging from small to large business and technology organizations to local and national non-profits. Diann is highly respected for her leadership and organizational skills, as well as her fundraising abilities.

Currently Ms. Turner serves as the chair of the Chesapeake Regional Tech Council’s Ambassador Committee and is an active participant on their Events Committee and B2G Forum. She is also the vice-chair of the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s Business Development, Marketing & Sales committee. Additional industry affiliations include the BWI Business Partnership, the Ft. Meade Alliance, the Maryland Chamber of Commerce, AFCEA-Central Maryland Chapter, Women in Lodging, the American Hotel & Lodging Association, Hospitality Financial & Technology Professionals, and the American Society of Association Executives. She is also a life-time member of the Annapolis Optimist Club where she has served as President, Vice-President and Board Member and was recognized for her leadership roles by Optimist International. Ms. Turner is also a member of the Annapolis Maritime Museum, where she frequently volunteers and assists in overall fundraising efforts. Ms. Turner holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies from the University of Maryland University College. Living in Annapolis, MD she enjoys boating, gardening and her two dogs.
