Want to Get Your Emails Returned? Avoid These Words

This ties back to the Social Media Marketing Forum's "Making a Good First Impression" meeting from a few months ago, so I thought I should post. Especially since many of us in this Forum are involved in business development. Here's the article with the full infographic: (Via Mashable)

Do you have any email best practices that you'd like to share with the group? Leave them here as a comment. For me, it's not about any one thing, but if someone comes off as too "pitchy." That, combined with an email message that doesn't show any amount of thought or customization for me is a recipe for deletion.
