Here's how to get started:
Since CRTC Membership is a Corporate investment, each Member Company has BOTH a Corporate profile and Representative profiles for any and all of their reps in the CRTC network. Think of the Corporate Profile as your company's brand and your Representative Profiles as the individual representatives. If you are the PRIMARY representative for your company you will want to first login and complete the Corporate Profile and then login and update your representative profile. If you are not the Primary rep, just skip to #2.
Step 1- The Corporate Profile
The profile currently in the system is based on the information we have on file however the new system offers sophisticated member searching that will depend on the accuracy of information such as your company's designations, focus areas and NAISC Codes. To log into your CORPORATE profile, use your website (without www or .com) as your USERNAME (ex. chesapeaketech) and Password: 2011crtc2012
Once you login you will be asked to update your preferences and then you will go to your CORPORATE PROFILE management page. As you are updating information here remember to think of your COMPANY not you as an individual.
In a future message I will cover adding Representatives to your Membership. If you need help with setting up your online presence in advance of future messages, please contact me today.
Step 2- The Representative Profile
Each CRTC Member Company has Representative profiles in the system based on the information we currently have file. To increase your member to member connections and add value to your CRTC relationships, complete your REPRESENTATIVE PROFILE today by adding interest areas, clearances, and group participation. To login to your REPRESENTATIVE profile, use your email address as your USERNAME and Password: 2011crtc2012.
Once you login you will be asked to update your preferences and then you will go to your REPRESENTATIVE PROFILE management page. As you are updating information here remember to think of your individual presence in the CRTC network.
