CISO Roundtables
- The purpose of these programs is to provide high level peer to peer opportunities for tech executives to advance cyber commercial business in the region. CISO Roundtables will feature key regional commercial cyber leaders and will be open to technology and sponsor companies only.

Spencer Wilcox, CISO at Exelon will be the featured CISO this month. Spencer Wilcox is Managing Security Strategist and Special Assistant to the Vice President and Chief Security Officer of Exelon Corporation, the leading U.S. competitive energy provider, with one of the cleanest and lowest-cost power generation fleets and largest retail customer bases in the country. The Exelon family of companies participates in every stage of the energy value chain, from generation to power sales to transmission to delivery. Headquartered in Chicago, Exelon has operations and business activities in 47 states, the District of Columbia and Canada.

Spencer has dedicated his career to the convergence of information and physical security, and holds certifications in both cyber and physical security from (ISC)2, ASIS, EC-Council and the SANS Institute.  He received his initial cyber security training through the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s National Infrastructure Protection Center (FBI NIPC) in the late 1990’s.  He has experience in virtually every area of the security field in the law enforcement, health insurance and electric utilities industries.  Spencer volunteers with the American Society for Industrial Security as Vice Chair of the IT Security Council, and is a regular speaker for (ISC)2, ASIS, and the Edison Electric Institute.
