Ron Ross is a Fellow at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). His current areas of specialization include information security and risk management. Dr. Ross leads the Federal Information Management Act (FISMA) Implementation Project, which includes the development of security standards and guidelines for the federal government, contractors, and the United States critical information infrastructure. Stuart Ainsworth is the Federal CTO at BMC Software where he develops and implements BMC's technology strategy for the public sector. Stuart has more than 25 years of experience in application development, IT management, and consulting. He began his career as a Lead Developer and Project Manager for financial and supply chain systems. After consulting with several enterprises as a subject matter expert in application development and service management, he joined BMC in 1999. During his tenure at BMC, he has successfully led many service management engagements with customers in the financial, healthcare, and federal industry verticals. Stuart brings private sector experience and thought leadership to the public sector which is valuable in sparking innovation for digital government.
