The Chesapeake Regional Tech Council in Partnership with AAWDC’s Cyberworks are working on Maryland Cyber Jobs Pilot Program.

Regional Focus: Anne Arundel/Howard County
Industry Focus: Cyber

Recognizing the challenge that many employers face when seeking qualified and skilled talent, the Chesapeake Regional Tech Council is launching mdcyberjobs.com. This skills-based hiring platform will help you fill your unmet talent needs for entry to mid-level cyber security-related job openings by connecting the three key stakeholders of today’s workforce: employers, job seekers and educators.

We need 15 industry leaders in the Anne Arundel & Howard County Region to discuss workforce development issues and solutions. Candidates should be Company Executives or Human Resource Executives.

By participating in this pilot program, your company will:

  • Help define an innovative hiring initiative for difficult to hire technical/cyber entry to mid-level workers including interns and apprentices,
  • Provide input of job and skills-matching platform that makes hiring less expensive and more efficient
  • Gain early access to the mdcyberjobs.com platform which can be used to pre-screen top candidates from area colleges and universities,
  • Review candidate profiles for two job postings provided by your company.
