Maryland Jobs Pilot Program Session 3 - POSTPONED!

We will post new date and time as soon as we are able.

The Chesapeake Regional Tech Council in Partnership with AAWDC are working on Maryland Jobs Pilot Program.

Regional Focus: Eastern Shore
Industry Focus: IOT & UAS

The Chesapeake Regional Tech Council is collaborating with Maryland Tech Connection to host business roundtables to discuss the impact technology has on workforce development. The focus of the roundtables is to better understand the process for attracting talent, retaining high performers and training for the existing workforce. We will also discuss skill gaps and opportunities to overcome hiring challenges. The target audience for this event are hiring managers and recruiters.

We need 15 industry leaders in the Eastern Shore Region to discuss workforce development issues and solutions. Candidates should be Company Executives or Human Resource Executives.

By participating in this pilot program, your company will:

  • Help define an innovative hiring initiative for difficult to hire technical entry to mid-level workers including interns and apprentices.
  • Gain early access to the jobs platform which can be used to pre-screen top candidates from area colleges and universities,
  • Review candidate profiles for two job postings provided by your company.

This is a CRTC and AAWDC partner event
