CRTC + GBTC

We are excited to partner with the Greater Baltimore Tech Council (GBTC) to offer CRTC members the opportunity to participate in an Executive Roundtable in Anne Arundel County.

Executive Roundtables provide a confidential forum for you, the business leader, to discuss issues relating to your business and/or industry. Each Roundtable group serves as an informal "advisory board" to you and your peer members.  If you’re looking for advice from someone that has been there and done that or someone who happens to be going through the same thing – this is the place to find it.

Details:

  • The program is designed to assist you in solving business problems and to foster the exchange of ideas
  • The group, along with a facilitator, sets their own agenda
  • Although the group has developed their own meeting time/location, guidelines on attendance, expectations from fellow members, and more, the general policies and guidelines apply for the group.
  • An annual fee of $300 is charged to participate unless otherwise noted.
  • Individuals will be placed in the CRTC-GBTC Executive Roundtable on a first-come, first-served basis dependent on the availability within each group.
  • Oversight for the Executive Roundtable will be provided for by the leadership of the CRTC-GBTC and the CRTC-GBTC Business Advisory Committee.

To apply to participate in this group, please send an email expressing interest to: exdir@chesapeaketech.org

GENERAL GUIDELINES AND POLICIES FOR THE EXECUTIVE ROUNDTABLE

  • Only one person from each profession is permitted to join the group.
  • All participants should represent their primary occupation, not a part-time business.
  • Attendance is mandatory
  • Individuals must be a member in good standing of CRTC, GBTC or both organizations to participate.
  • Each participant represents an organization. Therefore, if a participant should leave his/her organization, the seat still belongs to that company and not to the individual. Consequently, the participant must re-apply to the group on behalf of a new organization. Remember: the organization which the participant represents must be a member of CRTC, GBTC or both organizations.
  • There is a 30-day grace period for an individual who leaves his/her representing organization, assuming that there is no conflict with the previous employer.
  • To allow as many CRTC & GBTC members as possible to participate, if an organization is in two or more groups, and a person from a conflicting organization wants to participate, the organization in two or more groups must give up a seat.
