Vision System Engineer Is 111th Person in the U.S. to Obtain CSEIP Certification

GLEN BURNIE, MD – May 6, 2015 – Vision Technologies, Inc., a national and global systems integrator, is committed to provide opportunities for employee training and advancement. Rob Edwards, System Engineer for Vision Technologies, recently completed a rigorous training program and successfully passed the examination to obtain the Certified Security Engineer ICAM/PACS (CSEIP) accreditation. He is among a select group of only 111 Certified System Engineers ICAM PACS (CSEIP) in the country.
The federal government has strict guidelines for installing compliant access control solutions using government-issued PIV cards and identity verification. This GSA-approved program provides advanced training for system engineers on how to set up and test Enterprise Physical Access Control Systems (E-PACS) to align with government-wide specifications. The course includes the training and certification required for E-PACS engineers employed by commercial organizations looking to bid on GSA procurement agreements for access control systems.
