COLUMBIA (September 15, 2015) - The Red Hat Training Conference for North America, recently held in Las Vegas, NV, was a rousing success for one of our local IT firms, /training/etc. Karl Reynolds, Director of Red Hat Training, awarded two highly-coveted awards to /training/etc, whose tireless contributions are a major reason why the Red Hat Training brand is so successful and respected.
Barbara Stamatakis of /training/etc received the Director's Award for the Training Partner Instructor of the Year. As Raj Mediratta, NIIT RH Program Manager, pointed out during the presentation, "Simply stated, Barb is one of the finest instructors anywhere. Barb is enthusiastic, personable, tireless, committed, and dedicated to quality. While we, at Red Hat, have many good things to say about a lot of other contributors from /training/etc, Barb is a huge reason why students love /training/etc and why they come back to /training/etc for Red Hat training again and again. Suffice it to say; we like Barb."
The 2015 Red Hat Marketing Award was also conferred upon /training/etc as this year's leading provider of informational sessions and technical newsletters about Red Hat technology. /training/etc introduced a series of technical high level seminars, called "techlites," which provide insights into the growing breadth of training options provided by Red Hat Corporation. These techlites are led by Red Hat certified instructors for the loyal /training/etc customer base and local DoD and corporate community near Columbia, MD. Recent techlites have included a lecture and hands-on demo entitled, "Managing Linux Containers Using RHEL Atomic Host." Another popular seminar offered by /training/etc is, "How to Prepare for a Successful Red Hat Enterprise Linux Certification Exam." As Raj noted, "Offering students a seminar on how to improve your chances of passing a Red Hat exam is sure to make you a popular training provider. Thank you, /training/etc, for going above and beyond to help our learners."
