Chesapeake Regional Tech Council Elects Three New Board Members 

Annapolis, MD – The Chesapeake Regional Tech Council (CRTC), the industry organization dedicated to connecting, educating and advocating for the region’s technology industry, today announced that it has welcomed three new members to its board of directors: Trish Farrell, vice president at MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services; Lyle Fowlkes, director of government relations at Alexander & Cleaver; and Kathleen Booth, owner & CEO of Quintain Marketing.

“We are thrilled to welcome these three incredible and renowned women to further strengthen our board’s breadth of talent and background,” said Tami Howie, executive director for the Chesapeake Regional Tech Council. “Their distinguished leadership and expertise will be a tremendous asset to the council as we continue to grow and advance our presence in the tech community through our new partnerships and initiatives.”

Trish Farrell offers more than 20 years’ experience specializing in the sale and leasing of commercial real estate. During her time at MacKenzie, she has been involved in the leasing and marketing of over four million square feet of real estate, subsequently providing her with an understanding of both the landlord and tenant perspectives and the economic realities that coincide with their negotiations and ROI. Focused on the Baltimore/Washington Corridor, Farrell currently works out of the Annapolis and Maple Lawn offices.

Lyle Fowlkes is the director of government relations for Alexander & Cleaver, a legal, lobbying and business solutions firm. She serves as an intergovernmental liaison, while also assisting clients throughout the procurement process. Fowlkes goes above and beyond for her clients to help them achieve their goals, utilizing her strong relationships with state and local executive branch officials. Some of her responsibilities include policy development, strategic planning, procurement planning/award, and business and organization development.

Kathleen Booth is the co-founder and CEO of Quintain Marketing, a full-service inbound marketing agency that provides clients with outsourced marketing department services. Driven to get results and help her clients succeed, Booth is keen on providing others with the knowledge and tools they need to achieve their goals. She is a nationally-known speaker, trainer, writer, and digital marketing expert with an MBA in International Marketing. She is also Inbound Marketing Certified and a HubSpot Platinum Level Certified Partner.

In addition to the new board members, the following directors were elected to serve again on the executive committee: Jason Silva, ByteGrid; Todd Marks, Mindgrub Technologies; Angela Chaney, CohnReznick; Gregory Stone, Whiteford, Taylor & Preston; and Tim Lorello, TeleCommunication Systems, Inc.
