Chesapeake Regional Tech Council Announces Discount for Advanced Ticket Sales to Annual TechAwards 09 Annapolis, MD - February 6, 2009 - The Chesapeake Regional Tech Council
(formerly Anne Arundel Tech Council) has announced a reduced rate for
advance ticket sales to the prestigious TechAwards 09 if purchased by March
1st. The 4th annual event, to be held on March 26th, is a celebration of
technology excellence in the Chesapeake region that recognizes outstanding
achievements in the areas of innovation, strategic growth, customer service
and stewardship.

"We believe events such as TechAwards 09 are critical to fostering economic
optimism, which is why we created an 'early bird' fee of $95.00 for
attendees who register by March 1 - a $10 discount off of the 2008 fee,"
said TechAwards Committee Chair Annie Hartsock of Performance Technology
Group.

CRTC Executive Director Kris Valerio added, "During these challenging times,
this event will provide a great opportunity for the tech community to
celebrate something positive at the end of the first quarter, which will
help to inspire and drive business development opportunities throughout
2009. The annual TechAwards program is a favorite event among members, and
we want to give them and the tech community at large a chance to save a few
bucks by registering early."

The awards are open to companies operating in the Annapolis/ Washington/
Baltimore region. Over 35 nominations were received for four categories
including Innovator Award, Tech Service Company, Good Chip Award and Tech
Company of the Year. Finalists in each category will be announced in early
March. Winners and the additional appointed honor, the Legend's Circle
Award, will be announced at the event.

The CRTC TechAwards is a celebration that has increasingly uncovered some of
the great stories and innovations in the Chesapeake region's technology
community. Past winners have included a wide range of companies, from
innovative start-ups to well-known industry leaders.

The event will take place from 6 to 9 pm at the Westin Annapolis Hotel in
Annapolis, MD. From March 1st to March 26th tickets will be $105 for CRTC
members and $125 for non-members. Tickets purchased at the door will be $140
as available. Tables of 10 are available for $950. Registration, sponsorship
