CRTC Presentation to Address ‘Green’ As A Competitive Advantage
Sustainability Experts, Anne Arundel Medical Center Case Study to Lead Discussion at Maryland Environmental Center
ANNAPOLIS, MD, September 21, 2009 -- The Chesapeake Regional Tech Council (CRTC) is hosting the roundtable discussion September 30th entitled “Solving the Energy Puzzle.” This outdoor event, held among the solar array panels at the Maryland Environmental Center and sponsored by ENERNOC – energy management solutions experts, will show attendees how to make green efforts part of their brand and the economic benefits of renewable energy.

• Maryland Environmental Service, site of the outdoor meeting. Built by MES and Constellation Energy, this solar energy project can provide the 45,000 square-foot building with the equivalent of 50 percent of its power on a yearly average. Tours will be available before and after the event.

Founded in 1992 as the Anne Arundel Tech Council, the Chesapeake Regional Tech Council is dedicated to supporting the tri-metro region’s growing technology industry with symposiums, educational seminars and quarterly events all designed to foster an exchange of ideas from the region’s vibrant tech industry.
