Powering the Data Center: PTG Completes $800 Thousand Dollar Infrastructure Upgrade Baltimore, Maryland – July 27, 2009 – Performance Technology Group, Inc. (PTG) completed more than three quarters of a million dollars worth of infrastructure improvements to its facility, including a 2500 square foot build-out of additional data center space and a power upgrade from 600 to 3000 amps.
 
“Our clients house their critical network environments in our facility, and many of these environments are or will be expanding in the next year. The power upgrade was essential to meet a growing demand for secure, reliable data center space,” explains PTG CEO and President, Pete Chakales.  
 
Performance Technology Group’s SAS 70 Type II data center facility, which includes a 24x7x365 staffed network operations center, provides colocation, network monitoring and fully managed services for either hosted or remote environments.  
 
Recently, the firm has experienced a significant increase in requests from companies needing colocation to support either their primary environments or to host their redundant environments in order to meet business continuity & disaster recovery requirements.
