Founded in 1992, formerly the Anne Arundel Tech Council, the Chesapeake Regional Tech Council is a nonprofit 501c6 membership organization supported by grants from the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development and from the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation and enabled by sponsorship's from our Titanium and Platinum sustaining sponsors and membership.
The Chesapeake Regional Tech Council provides a forum designed to further economic development in our community through the support of innovation and commercialization of advanced technologies. The organization attracts new technology companies to the region and helps emerging technology companies grow and prosper in this increasingly dynamic environment. We do this by serving as a resource that meets technology companies' business, education and networking needs. We also help enhance public understanding of technology-related issues.
