Director of Analytics

Position Description:
PROTEUS is seeking a Director of Analytics to provide technical and programmatic leadership to a Team of software and systems engineers within our Analytic Engineering directorate. He/She will provide strategic vision and business leadership to the company. The selected candidate will develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for maximum growth in the SES domain. He/She will provide technical leadership of ongoing tasks, project planning, and successful and timely deliverables. In addition, the selected candidate will provide management and guidance to Team Leads. Additionally, this role will provide guidance to executive staff to achieve established goals. The Director will lead proposal efforts and create strategies to win new business with current and future customers. He/She will establish key business alliances that enhance the company’s partnership opportunities. The selected candidate will also develop, track and report business metrics that assess all aspects of performance including growth, productivity, risk and financial operations.
Required Skills:
• 15 or more years of technical management experience in the Intelligence Community
• Familiarity with decision support mechanisms including resource allocation, workflow modeling, and security risk analysis
• Demonstrated success in organically growing programs.
• Experience in allocating and balancing engineering resources for large scale government and commercial programs
• Demonstrated successful client management, resource cost and scheduling, and forecasting
• Support of budgeting activities
• Strong technical writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical counterparts within the DoD/IC
• Proven history of leading teams to generate new business opportunities through identification, qualification, capture and proposal development activities
• Solid knowledge and experience participating or leading successful proposal efforts
• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field; MS preferred, MBA desirable
Security Clearance:
• Must meet eligibility requirements for a TS/SCI and polygraph clearance
