The Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation is seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for project development, implementation, daily management, and reporting of a three year cybersecurity grant project. The Manager will oversee project operations and manage partner and subcontractor relationships. 

Duties:

• Manage and implement all aspects of the project, including but not limited to:  budget, staffing, operations, outreach, performance, reporting, partnerships, and marketing.
• Liaison with community colleges to coordinate training schedules and recruitment and referral of project participants to training programs
• Monitor and adhere to grant project requirements, establishing appropriate benchmarks on performance and delivery, and preparing reports as required.
• Develop and manage relationships and agreements with vendors and consultants to ensure that all project deliverables are completed according to project requirements and timelines.
• Manage relationships with project partners including community colleges, employers, industry associations, economic and workforce development, public education, Job Corps, and other partners; convene quarterly advisory board meetings.
• Oversee marketing efforts for the program, with an emphasis on recruiting, advising, and enrollment of students as well as identification of employment opportunities for training completers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Education, Human Resources, or related field. 
• Minimum of three years of experience in information technology, cybersecurity or organizational development.
• Knowledge of federal grant requirements including eligibility and performance.
• Strong project management and supervisory experience including experience in fiscal analysis and management. 
• Experience in marketing programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong Microsoft Office skills. 
• Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with workforce professionals, college faculty and staff, government agencies, students, job seekers, businesses, community groups and the public.
